Cross Cultural Communication
I'd like to end by making a few observations about culture and cross cultural differences.
The first step to understanding another culture is understanding your own.
To more you understand your own culture, the better you'll be able to get to know other cultures.
Whenever you are dealing with someone from another culture - whether American culture or any other culture - be curious, and also be patient.
When you run into a situation where you feel uncomfortable, either from something you or the other person did or said, be curious about it, and perhaps reflect on it later. And be patient. Patience will allow you the time to figure out what is really going on.
Patience will also help you to discover more about the other culture - whether that is American culture or anouther culture - and more about your own.

今天早上去聽了英文課，好懷念的上課感覺，
所以我這三小時基本上恍神的時間不超過五分鐘唷，
這位James老師也很不賴，雖然是美國人，
但是該講中文時也會換成中文，
沒有那種外國老師硬要逼人聽英文的感覺，
補一下最後的心得：
In terms of accuracy, speaking errors are more acceptable.
Writing, however, require greater accuracy. So-so emails, reports, website information, and other written documents give others the impression that you, your company, or your team is not very professional.
Learn from good example.
Start a "Good Writing Examples" folder, and copy and paster good example that you receive.
Notice phrases not just individual words.
We write phrases, and therefore you need to notice these phrases.
Once a phrase becomes familiar to you, you can use that phrase again and again in your Business writing.
We don't learn to write by writing more. For the most part, we learn to write by reading.
Therefore, reading is probably the best way to improve your writing.
Reading things that are easy, fun and not only business-related.
Read, read, read!
